William Ring is a known associate of the fascist group called Patriot Front.

In 2022, Ring allegedly punched a teenager in the face at a store after telling her to go back to "Mexico."

The judge set Ring free while awaiting trial for that assault. A month later, Ring allegedly hit someone in the head with a baseball bat wrapped with barbed wire.

The criminal cases in Centre County have been rolled into Ring's criminal case in Fayette County. It makes sense since the Fayette County is attempted homicide, and in Centre County, Ring is just accused of violently assaulting a teenage girl.
