A known white nationalist group appears to be targeting an all-ages death metal concert in Virginia.
I noticed the April 30 concert was called out as an event on the calendar for a white nationalist group called Asatru Folk Assembly. Why would a hate group tell their members to go to this concert at Canal Club in Richmond?
Robert Stamm posted the concert on the group's website.
In 2019, Stamm was fired by the Virginia Division of Capitol Police for being a member of Asatru Folk Assembly. The Southern Poverty Law Center classifies the group as possibly the largest neo-Völkisch hate group in the country.
Born out of an atavistic defiance of modernity and rationalism, present-day neo-Völkisch, or Folkish, adherents and groups are organized around ethnocentricity and archaic notions of gender
Since being fired, Stamm remains a leader in the white nationalist organization. Stamm is listed on the group's website as a "Gothi."
The group describes what the Gothi does.
The position of Gothi or Gythia is one of leadership and service to our church. They inherently bear many responsibilities, such as leading marriage ceremonies, funerary rites, naming ceremonies, land takings, coming of age rites, and other rituals for our community.
The bands are Immolation, Ingrown or Blood Incantation. Someone should contact those bands and have them call out these fascists at the show, to warn kids who may be targeted.
