For months, Patriot Front lawyers have been requesting a hearing on their motion to dismiss this civil case brought by residents of a predominantly black community in Richmond, Virginia.

The plaintiffs argue that Patriot Front members violated their rights by repeatedly targeting their community with hate speech. At one point, Patriot Front destroyed an Arthur Ashe mural in a neighborhood park by vandalizing it with hate speech.

On March 4, the judge granted the Patriot Front request for oral arguments over their motion to dismiss this case. Their argument is that Patriot Front members have a constitutional right to target black communities with hate speech.

Oral arguments are scheduled for March 27.
