The FBI arrested a Virginia man on December 17th for allegedly possessing a barrel that is just too short for the feds - federal law anyways.

Brad Kenneth Spafford, of Smithfield, Virginia, had been running his yap with someone who was an FBI snitch for about a year. Spafford apparently told the informant that he wished someone would kill Joe Biden. He practiced shooting guns at targets of Joe Biden. Spafford also spoke about how he blew off part of his hand making homemade bombs in 2021.

But that's not why he was arrested. Spafford is charged with owning an unregistered firearm with a barrel less than 16 inches long.

When he was arrested, the feds found a bunch of explosives and ammunition. According to the court documents, Spafford wants to make 10,000 rounds, and that he was planning something that he couldn't do on his own.

Spafford's lawyer argues that Spafford doesn't like the government, and that's not illegal.

But it's not looking good for Brad, because the feds could tack on some more felonies for all of those homemade bombs. Spafford does have two lawyers representing him in this case, so he's got at least some money from somewhere to fight these charges.
